Online Counselling for Anxiety, Overthinking & Emotional Pressure | Sukhi K Chatha
I understand how difficult it can feel to open up when you have spent a long time carrying things internally, appearing “fine,” or feeling responsible for holding everything together around you.
The work is about helping you understand yourself more clearly, process what has been emotionally weighing on you, and create meaningful change in a way that feels manageable and genuine to you.
Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, self-aware individuals who have spent years trying to cope privately before finally reaching out for support.
Many people delay counselling because they believe they should be coping better, functioning better, or “handling it” alone.
But constant overthinking, emotional exhaustion, anxiety, numbness, or feeling mentally overwhelmed are not things you simply have to tolerate indefinitely.
You do not need to wait until things completely fall apart before asking for support.

You Do Not Need To Reach Breaking Point Before Seeking Support
What Happens In The First Session?
The first session is an opportunity for us to begin understanding what has been happening for you, what feels difficult right now, and what you may need from the process moving forward.
Some people arrive with very clear concerns. Others only know that they feel emotionally exhausted, mentally overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in patterns they cannot fully explain yet.
There is no pressure to share everything immediately. The focus is on creating a space where you can begin speaking openly without fear of judgement, criticism, or needing to hold everything together.
The focus is on helping you feel heard, emotionally supported, and better able to understand what has been happening internally beneath the surface.
SKC Framework Counselling is not about forcing emotional breakthroughs or leaving you feeling exposed and unsupported.
Many people describe feeling lighter after sessions, not because every problem is suddenly solved, but because they no longer feel entirely alone in what they have been carrying internally.
Over time, clients often begin to experience less internal pressure, healthier emotional boundaries and a stronger sense of calm and self-awareness.
Some sessions may feel emotionally challenging at times, particularly when discussing painful experiences or long-standing patterns, but the process is intended to feel supportive, manageable, and grounding rather than overwhelming.
The aim is not simply to “talk about problems,” but to help you feel more emotionally connected, mentally clearer, and better able to cope with life in a healthier, more sustainable way.
I work with adults who may appear highly capable externally but are privately carrying emotional strain.
This may include:
professionals experiencing burnout or chronic stress
people carrying unresolved trauma or emotional pain
individuals struggling with anxiety, overthinking or emotional exhaustion
people feeling emotionally disconnected despite external success
adults carrying pressure, responsibility or emotional suppression for prolonged periods
those wanting deeper self-awareness, emotional clarity and healthier coping strategies
Many clients come to support after spending years trying to manage alone.
About me
I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and hold qualifications in Therapeutic Counselling, Executive Coaching, Teaching and Training, and Mental Health First Aid.
Before moving fully into therapeutic practice, I spent years working within corporate leadership, coaching, training, and management environments. This combination allows me to understand not only emotional wellbeing, but also the pressures many people experience within high-responsibility roles, professional environments, caregiving positions, and performance-driven cultures.
The SKC Framework™ developed through years of therapeutic work alongside direct exposure to the hidden pressures many people carry beneath outward composure.
Online Counsellor UK
The SKC Framework™
My approach combines counselling, reflective conversation, behavioural understanding, and psychological insight to help people better understand themselves beyond the coping strategies they have relied upon for years.

“I took counselling to discuss long-standing trauma I experienced since childhood. Suki helped to eliminate my confusion, notice patterns and feel understood. I was able to move on from a large part of my trauma that was overwhelming, that I had never spoken about before. I was glad for the space that Sukhi provided that was safe and confidential.” Abi – Sutton Coldfield
“I’d never attended counselling before I started working with Sukhi. I feel fortunate to have spent the time I have working with her; she is a great listener and always makes me feel heard and understood. She’s great at eliciting reflection and thought in a particularly gentle and patient way. As time has passed I’ve found myself more and more looking forward to our sessions.” Scott – Birmingham

Mental Health and Wellbeing
Ongoing involvement in mental health awareness, wellbeing initiatives, and charitable fundraising supporting emotional wellbeing across the UK.

March 2026
In March, I completed the 31 Miles challenge in support of Mind, raising £1,021.
Mental health is at the heart of the work I do, so being able to contribute in this way felt especially meaningful.
Thank you to everyone who supported and donated.

February 2026
In February, I took part in the 28 Miles challenge for Mental Health UK, raising £101.
It was a small but important way to support wider access to mental health support, which is something I care deeply about through my counselling work.
Community & Charity Work
Supporting the wider community is an important part of my work. I regularly contribute time to initiatives that focus on mental health, access to support, and wellbeing.
If you’d like to collaborate or invite me to be involved in a project, you’re welcome to get in touch.
