When your thoughts never seem to stop.
Overthinking can affect every part of life. The constant analysing. Replaying conversations. Second-guessing decisions. Expecting problems before they happen. Feeling mentally exhausted but unable to slow your mind.
Many adults live in a near constant state of internal tension without fully realising how much pressure they are under.
Support that goes beyond surface-level coping.
Counselling and coaching can help you:
better understand anxious thinking patterns
reduce emotional overload
recognise triggers and emotional responses
build healthier coping habits
improve emotional awareness
reduce self-criticism
feel calmer and mentally clearer
The aim is not to eliminate every anxious thought. It is to reduce the emotional control those patterns have over your life.
Common Experiences
My Approach
A thoughtful, emotionally grounded approach.
Many people struggling with anxiety are highly self-aware already.
What they often need is not more pressure to “think positively,” but a clearer understanding of the emotional strain beneath their patterns.
Sessions provide space to slow down, reflect honestly, and build healthier emotional responses over time.
You do not have to manage constant mental pressure alone.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting.
Most people don’t.
You just need a starting point.
The first few sessions are usually about getting a sense of what’s going on for you.
You might talk about what’s been difficult recently, or what’s been sitting in the background for longer.
It’s also a chance for you to see how it feels to talk with me.
There’s no expectation to go into everything straight away.
It’s common for things to take time to come into words.
How counselling works
Step 1 — Book your session
Choose a time that works for you.
Step 2 — Talk through what’s going on
We focus on what’s actually happening for you — not surface-level advice.
Step 3 — Start building control and clarity
You begin to understand your patterns and learn how to respond differently in real situations.
Sessions are online and last 60 minutes.
We would usually meet weekly, at a pace that feels manageable. There’s no expectation to explain everything straight away. We start with whatever you’re able to bring, even if that’s just a sense that something isn’t right.

“I took counselling to discuss long-standing trauma I experienced since childhood. Suki helped to eliminate my confusion, notice patterns and feel understood. I was able to move on from a large part of my trauma that was overwhelming, that I had never spoken about before. I was glad for the space that Suki provided that was safe and confidential.” Abi – Sutton Coldfield
“I’d never attended counselling before I started working with Suki. I feel fortunate to have spent the time I have working with her; she is a great listener and always makes me feel heard and understood. She’s great at eliciting reflection and thought in a particularly gentle and patient way. As time has passed I’ve found myself more and more looking forward to our sessions.” Scott – Birmingham
